Sisters Adorers of the Precious Blood

Founded:    1861 by Catherine Aurelia Caouette

Purposes:    Devotion to the Precious Blood, offering to God their exercises of piety and holy works for personal sanctification, the needs of the church and the conversion of sinners.

Habit:  White habit and mantle, red scapular and cincture and a black veil on the border of which is a small cross of red cloth, black rosary, silver ring and cross.  On the pendant of the cincture are the instruments of the Passion in white(Source 1, page 229).
