Purposes:    Devoted exclusively to education.

Habit:  Black serge habit with cape, white collar, pleated skirt, apron, cincture, with rosary and crucifix, white cap, white hood and a black veil.



Sister Patricia Regal, SSC provided the above photograph and writes: 

"This is a picture taken February 2, 1965. It is a picture of Sister Magdalen Marie, BVM on her Profession Day.

This is the BVM habit that was in worn from the late 1950s until they went out of habit in the late 1960s and early 1970s. This habit follows the one shown on your website [the preceding picture]. The habit remained the same and only the headdress and veil changed."
